1. Service Description

CANSKAN provides a digital identity verification platform that:

• Generates unique QR codes based on your email address
• Creates a personal profile URL for identity verification
• Facilitates event check-ins and attendance tracking
• Enables secure sharing of your information with event organizers (with your consent)

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use CANSKAN. By using our service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Your Account

When creating a profile or generating a QR code:

• You agree to provide accurate and truthful information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You may only create one QR code per email address

4. QR Code Usage

Your CANSKAN QR code:

• Is uniquely tied to your email address via a secure hash
• Is permanent and does not expire
• May be used for identity verification at participating events and services
• Remains your responsibility — treat it like a personal ID

5. Data Sharing at Events

When you check in to an event using your QR code:

• You may be asked to consent to share certain information with the event organizer
• Once shared, that information belongs to the event organizer
• We cannot delete information you've already shared with third parties
• Event organizers have their own privacy policies — review them before sharing

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Share, sell, or transfer your QR code to another person
• Use someone else's QR code or impersonate another user
• Create multiple accounts or QR codes for fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit our systems
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

7. Intellectual Property

The CANSKAN name, logo, website design, and all related content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission. Your QR code and profile URL are provided for your personal use only.

8. Third-Party Services

CANSKAN integrates with third-party event management and verification systems. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CANSKAN is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from your use of the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CANSKAN and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to denied entry to events, data loss, or unauthorized access to your account.

11. Account Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time through our profile deletion page. Upon deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason at our discretion. We will attempt to notify you before termination when possible.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of CANSKAN after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

CANSKAN is a product of Night Tinker Inc., a company registered in Singapore. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
